| 30-40 Krag; 60% blue, good bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in 1902 by the Springfield Armory. The front sight is a raised blade, and the rear is a ladder style. The left side of the receiver is stamped "U.S. MODEL 1898 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 388211' The bore good. The metal finish is worn and thinning on then high edges, the trap door buttplate has mild patina, The stock has a crack at the buttplate and has a large piece of the stock missing at the bottom of the stock, at the second barrel band The stock has several handling marks and dings. It also has a crack on the left side above the trigger., s/n 3882xx |
