| 35 Rem; 85% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Manufactured circa 1909-1914, and after the closing of the factory, some rifles being assembled by Numrich Arms. These rifles could function as both a semi-automatic and a slide action, by closing or opening the gas port at the end of the gas tube. Bottom loading internal box magazine. Original blue finish, brass slide and buttplate with elaborate carving, mounted in a straight grip walnut stock. Stamped on top of the barrel "MAN'F'D. BY STANDARD ARMS CO./WILMINGTON, DELAWARE U.S.A.". The metal finish shows moderate wear with areas of pitting on the right side of the frame and magazine tube. Missing the thumb slider for the rear sight. Mechanically fine, the bore has shine and strong rifling. We imported this rifle from Germany and it bears our import mark on the left side of the frame.
