| 44 Caliber; 75% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 6'' barrel, Double action percussion revolver. Original bright blued finish and plain walnut grip with strong inspector cartouches on both sides. Casehardened hammer and loading lever. Matching serial numbers. Marked on the left side of the frame "STARR ARMS CO. NEW. YORK." and on the right side "STARR'S PATENT JAN. 15, 1856". Mechanically in fine condition with a bright strong bore. Most finish loss is on the barrel and grip frame, some on the cylinder. Light scratches overall. Antique., s/n 80xx |
