| Sunstar 1/18 scale diecast Platinum Series 1958 Lincoln Continental MKIII. Lot of two (2), pink and yellow. These do not have the original boxes. These diecast cars are highly detailed replicas with opening hood revealing a highly detailed engine compartment. Opening doors with opening glove compartment and moveable sun visors. Opening trunk revealing a well detailed trunk with plaid matt, spare tire with plaid cover, tire jack, etc. Opening convertible top hatch to reveal a cloth convertible top. Functioning windshield wipers. Functioning suspension and steering. Photo etched emblems. These model cars are heavy and measure 12 1/2 inches in length. Both of these have a few issues. The pink top down convertible version is missing the hood and trunk ornaments. Also the photo etched mesh grill has detached, however is included for repair. The driver side rear fiin chrome piece has detached, but is also included for repair. There is a small paint chip and scratch on the trunk lid. The steering wheel has also detached, included for repair. Also includes the optional rear wheel covers. The yellow top up convertible version is missing both of the chrome tail fin pieces. The grill has detached but is there for repair. The passenger side windshield wiper is missing. The hood ornament is bent and the passenger side photo etch fender badge is torn and partially detached. The paint finish is good. Both of these were displayed in clear plastic cases, but may have a little dust. Clear cases are included. |
