| 38 S&W; good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, 3rd Model manufactured 1884-1895. Factory nickel finish 80%. Original hard rubber checkered grips with S&W monograms. Blued trigger guard, casehardened trigger and hammer. 5-shot cylinder with matching serial number. Original fixed sights. Top of barrel rib stamped with two lines with the S&W address and patent dates 1865, 1869, 1871, 1880 and 1882. The metal finish has scattered small areas of loss and spotting. Mechanically fine and tight revolver. Includes a period full flap leather belt holster is fair-good condition, about 2 inches of stitching separating at upper rear edge. Antique, s/n 2141xx |
