S/n on bottom of barrel, left side of barrel is marked, SMITH & WESSON. Top of barrel is marked with 2-line address/patent. Left side of frame is marked, PROPERTY OF U.S.NAVY. S/n is also on bottom of grip frame. Finish has minor edge wear and scratches. Walnut grips have mild handling marks while left grip appears to have notches. Bore is bright., s/n 9612xx |
