| 7.5mm Swiss; 80% blue, Fair bore, Poor stock, 25.65'' barrel, Numbers matching rifle. Manufactured in 1944. The front sight is a winged post and the rear is an elevation adjustable tangent. Bluing on reciever is thinning, especially at the rear. The top of the receiver ring has the Swiss Cross inside a shield. The tang has a "FR" stamped on it showing it was refurbished by arsenal (Zeughaus) Fribourg. There is also what looks like a "P" or a "D" stamped on the tang. The stock has ben repaired and the seam of the repair is cracked from the buttplate to the pistol-grip. There are numerous scattered handling marks. The barrel bands have light surface rust on them. Muzzle cap. Equipped with a brown leather sling. - Import Marked-, s/n 7892xx |
