| 10.4mm; 88% blue, poor bore, good stock, 33.2'' barrel, SWISS MODEL 1871 VETTERLI INFANTRY RIFLE IN ANTIQUE FINE CONDITION. THE BLUING IS STARTING TO TURN PATINA AND IS MOSTLY EVEN THROUGHOUT WITH SOME WEAR ON THE LEFT RECEIVER. THE BORE IS POOR SHOWING HEAVY CORROSION AND WELL WORN RIFLING. THE BUTTSTOCK AND FOREARM ARE SOLID WITH THE FOREARM BEING CHECKERED AND SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. THE BOLT IS MISMATCHED BUT THE ACTION IS SMOOTH AND TIGHT AND FUNCTIONS PROPERLY. |
