| 8.15x46mmR; 75% blue, fair bore, good stock, 32'' barrel, Crown/BUG proofed on the bottom of the barrel, Crown/N and Nitro proofed on the left side of the barrel. C.1920's. Blued finish full octagon barrel having a globe front sight with aperture insert added. No rear sight, block on tang for mounting. Barrel is matted with a 5.75" dovetailed flat on top of barrel. Color case hardened action with generous remaining color, marked on top "ORIGINAL-SYST-AYDT", marked the same on the left side of the dropping breechblock. Rear set double triggers. Single wedged plain walnut forend. Checkered walnut stock wth casehardened hooked buttplate. Metal has light spotting. Stock shows some handling. Bore has fairly strong rifling however is heavily frosted throughout. Action functions fine., s/n 30xx |
