| 20 GA; 90% blue, very good bore, good stock, 26.25'' barrel, Manufactured in London England ca.1887. Reblued metal. Smooth concave barrel rib with bead sight. 2 1/2 inch chambers, chokes gage Improved Cylinder, barrels likely shortened at some point. Top of barrel rib is engraved "T. BLAND & SONS, 430 . WEST STRAND, LONDON.". Both lockplates are engraved "T. BLAND & SONS". Barrels and frame have matching serial numbers. Walnut stock with checkered round knob grip, the stock has had a couple extensions added over the years, LOP is 14.25 inches. The buttplate is a piece of thin laminated wood, nailed into place. Checkered walnut forearm, the tip is missing and there is glue residue where attempts to repair were made. The left side has sliver of missing wood at the upper edge and a smal chip on the right side. The actions function fine and barrel lockup is good., s/n 144xx |
