| 8mm Mauser; 50% blue, good bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Turkish arsenal rebuild/rebarreled to standard 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser) chambering. Original blued finish, walnut stock. Non-matching bolt. Top of receiver is marked with the crescent moon, TC/ASFA/ANKARA with the date 1940. Inverted V fixed front sight, tangent rear sight with graduations in english numerals, rear sight with matching serial number to rifle. Original brass cleaning rod. CAI import marked on end of barrel. Mechanically fine. Bore has strong rifling, showing some frost throughout. Includes a dozen brass stripper clips. Antique (all Turkish M1893 Mauser rifles were produced 1894-1896)., s/n 1F431xx |
