| 30-06 Cal; fair bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Parkerized finish, mounted in a walnut stock and handguards. SA 9-44 barrel with parkerized breech. Receiver made in August 1944. Stock marked with the boxed SA/GAW cartouche and ordnance wheel escutcheon on left side. Block P firing proof low on front of grip. Small ordnance wheel stamp on bottom of grip. SA parts: -12 bolt, -9 uncut op-rod, -14 trigger housing, -7 hammer, -11 safety, stamped trigger guard, type 3 lock bar rear sight, P marked 2 slot tappet cylinder lock screw. Thinning metal finish, many dings and scuffs on wood. Mechanically fine. TE=4, Muzzle=3+, bore showing corrosion throughout. With original 1944 dated M1 web sling in excellent condition, plastic oiler in butt trap along with the original sales listing description from Brocks. C&R/FFL, s/n 31603xx |
