| Lot of two (2) cavalry style campaign hats. 1-M1889, drab wool with OD green band. Leather sweat band embossed "ARMY". No labels or tags remain. As worn by U.S. troops during the Spanish American War era. Condition good, some minor mothing. The sweat band has begun to detach in places. Smaller size, about 6 3/4. 2-M1883 reproduction?, tan wool with gold cord. Leather sweat band is dry and stiff, size tag marked "7 100% VIRGIN WOOL". No maker or other labels. No vent holes. Over all in good condition., |
