| As issued to the US Cavalry for the M1903 Springfield rifles. Maker marked S.J.Co. over inspector initials JD. Not dated. Both leather straps are present but are missing the clips and one small retaining loop is torn. One side has three holes, two high and one low and the other side has two holes located high indicating a modification at some point. Otherwise overall good original condition, the leather is a bit stiff, the stitching intact., |
