| 30-06 Cal; excellent bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, Original parkerized finish with some blue finish small parts. Mounted in a dark oil soaked walnut stock. RA 4-43 barrel. All visible parts are R marked for Remington manufacture including the bolt. The trigger guard and floorplate have been replaced with milled parts from an M1903 rifle. Pinned stock marked on the left side "RA, ordnance wheel escutheon, boxed FJA" with small inspector marks in front of the trigger guard and a cirlce P firing proof behind the guard. Used, with some light surface rusting on a few of the parts. Mechanically fine, sharp 4 groove bore with a tight muzzle. C&R/FFL, s/n 37993xx |
