| 45 ACP; excellent bore, excellent grips, 5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1943. Original parkerized finish and checkered brown plastic Keyes grips with narrow rings around the screws. Magazine marked 'C" on top of the base lip. Colt barrel, marked on top of the chamber "COLT .45 AUTO" and on the left side of the lug with a square C stamp. 3 type slide logo. The left side of the frame is stamped with the inspector mark FJA and with the P firing proof below the magazine catch button. The right side of the frame is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY". Grooved slide catch, checkered thumb safety, narrow knurled hammer, arched mainspring housing with 9 grooves. Mechanically fine. Includes a nicely made wooden display box with fitted foam interior base and an extra original magazine. C&R/FFL, s/n 17489xx |
