| 45-70 Government; 80% blue, very good bore, good stock, 32.5'' barrel, Original blued finish, casehardened breechblock, walnut stock with crisp 1891 dated inspector cartouche. Block marked "U.S./MODEL/1884". V, P and eagleshead proofed over the left side of the barrel. Clear circled script P firing proof on the bottom of the grip. Painted unit or rack number on the left stock. Original ramrod bayonet and leather sling in Good condition. Fixed front and Buffington rear sights. The stock has a small crack on each side of the end of the butt. Lock functions well. Antique., s/n 5145xx |
