| Example of a holster made by a German sattler for a GI during the WW2 period. Rather complicated rigging straps. The back of the holster has hand written markings, some a bit hard to make out: "Sgt Larry Frepan Co H 260 Engr Const Co" along the upper edge on the back. And along the back lower edge "Sgt Larry Frepan 1390 Forestery Co". And in the front inside rough "Sgt Larry Frepan" then mostly illegible writing. Single rivits used to secure straps. Complete, in good overall condition. |
