| WW I US Army uniform group of PVT Victor Cederstrom from Barnesboro PA (born in Finland) who served in Headquarters Detachment 305th Engineer Regiment 80th Division. The uniform includes his coat, breeches and puttees along with his Victory medal and dog tag. Coat insignia includes an 80th Division shoulder patch, red discharge stripe, two gold overseas chevrons and ribbon. Collar disks are US and Engineers. Research includes his application for the victory medal, veteran's application (bonus) and his statement of service card summarizing his service. Also included is a period Camp Dix publication, two picture postcards of him and one of his troopship. Finally there is a period history of his unit published Feb 9, 1919 in France which is 14 pages long together with a roster of the Headquarters showing him as a saddler. |
