| 9mm Luger; 70% blue, poor bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish and strawed small parts, Dutch coarse checkered arsenal replacement grips. Matching numbers except the sideplate and magazine. The magazine included with the pistol is a blued sheet steel variation with unmarked aluminum base. Top of toggle is stamped "VICKERS/LTD". Top of barrel is dated 1925. Dutch crown/W proofed on left side of receiver. Crown/V proofs on toggle. Brass sideplate marked "Mgd.M1./67". "RUST" safety marking on left toggle housing. "GELADEN" marked on both sides of the extractor. Typical oxidation of the metal finish due to the extreme climate in the Dutch East Indies where these pistols were issued, with areas of pitting and spotting. The grips are over all good however the left grip panel has a chip of wood missing under the safety lever. The bore is worn and pitted. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 43xx, Catalog Number V-12 |
