| 9mm; 85% blue, fair bore, very good grips, 4.9'' barrel, 2nd variation with original blue finish and dark brown bakelite grips. Matching serial numbers. Original magazine, eagle/359 proofed high on spine, marked on the left side "P.38". The right side of the slide is stamped with two eagle/359 proofs flanking the eagle/swastika military acceptance mark. Left side of frame and barrel lug stamped with an eagle/359 proof. Safety lever and takedown lever have visible external eagle/359 proofs. The metal finish shows some sharp edge wear, with most loss on the front grip frame strap. Our import mark on the bottom of the frame. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing corrosion throughout., s/n 53xxf |
