| 6.35mm; 93% blue, excellent bore, very good grips, 2.125'' barrel, EARLY 1907 6.35MM (25 ACP) AUTOMATIC WITH MATCHING NUMBERS MADE IN JUNE 1906. THE EARLY FEATURES OF THIS EXAMPLE ARE NOTED ON PAGE 141 IN THE BOOK "WEBLEY & SCOTT AUTOMATIC PISTOLS" BY GORDON BRUCE. MOST NOTABLY THE MORE SQUARED FRAME, SHARPLY CURVED TRIGGER, CHECKERED RATHER THAN GROOVED SAFETY LEVER AND THE GRIPS SET INTO THE FRAME RATHER THAN ON IT. THE POLISHED ORIGINAL BLUING SHOWS LIGHT HIGH EDGE WEAR ALONG WITH SOME LIGHT FRECKLING ON THE RIGHT SLIDE AND ON THE GRIP STRAPS. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE CHECKERED GRIPS SHOW LIGHT WEAR ON THE LEFT PANEL. |
