THE BLUING IS EVEN THROUGHOUT WITH THE RECEIVER STARTING TO PLUM.. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE WALNUT STOCK AND HANDGUARD ARE SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. THE ORIGINAL STEEL BUTTPLATE HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A RUBBER ONE INCREASING THE LOP TO 14".
