| 7.5X55 MM; 80% blue, very good+ bore, good stock, 30.7'' barrel, SWISS M96/11 INFANTRY RIFLE IN ANTIQUE EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH MATCHING NUMBERS EXCEPT THE STOCK 53397 MADE ORIGINALLY AS A M96 RIFLE IN 1898 AND LATER CONFIGURED TO AN M96/11 BETWEEN 1912/1920. THE RIFLE WAS LATER PRIVATIZED IN 1909.THE BLUING IS GOOD SHOWING LIGHT WEAR ON THE RECEIVER, TRIGGER GUARD AND MAGAZINE. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING. THE REFINISHED STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING THE TYPICAL INLETTED PISTOL GRIP AND SHOWS NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS.
