| 40-60 CAL; 60% blue, poor bore, fair stock, 28'' barrel, WINCHESTER 3'RD MODEL 1876 RIFLE CHAMBERED IN 40-60 CALIBER MADE IN 1883 IN ANTIQUE GOOD CONDITION. THE BLUING ON THE BARREL AND MAGAZINE TUBE SHOWS MODERATE WEAR WITH LIGHT OXIDATION ON THE TUBE. THE RECEIVER RETAINS JUST REMNANTS OF ITS CASE COLORS ALONG WITH LIGHT CORROSION ON THE SIDE PLATES AND LEVER. THE POOR BORE IS HEAVILY CORRODED THE WALNUT BUTTSTOCK HAS A SMALL SLIVER OUT OF THE UPPER RIGHT TANG BUT IT OTHERWISE SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS AND SCRATCHES. THE FOREARM ALSO HAS SMALL SLIVERS OF WOOD OUT OF THE UPPER REAR ON BOTH SIDES ALONG WITH LIGHT DINGS AND SCRATCHES., s/n 406xx |
