| 40-82 CAL; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION RIFLE IN ANTIQUE NEAR EXCELLENT CONDITION CHAMBERED IN 40-82 WCF AND MADE IN 1891. THE BLUING ON THE OCTAGONAL BARREL HAS FADED AND DULLED OVER THE DECADES BUT IS ALL THERE. THE FINISH ON THE MAGAZINE TUBE HAS FADED MORE THAN THE BARREL. THE RECEIVER AND LEVER RETAIN APPROX 10% OF ITS CASE COLORS. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH GOOD RIFLING. THE REAR TANG IS FITTED WITH A TANG SIGHT MECHANISM BUT THE APERATURE IS MISSING. THE BARRELS REAR SIGHT IS MISSING ITS LADDER.. THE SMOOTH WALNUT BUTTSTOCK IS SOLID WITH A CURVD STEEL BUTTPLATE SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS AND SCRATCHES.
