| 44-40 Win; good bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1913. Worn finish, mostly silvered with light browning on the barrel, scattered spots of pitting. Original walnut stock overall good, has been lightly sanded and refinshed. Round barrel with fixed front sight and reproduction folding rear ladder sight. Marked over the left side of the barrel with the Winchester address and 1884 patent date in two lines. Caliber marking over left side of the barrels chamber. Marked on the upper tang "MODEL 1892/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. IN U.S. PAT. OFF.". Oval proofs on top of barrel chamber and frame. Carbine is also British proofed. Mechanically fine. Import marked. C&R/FFL, s/n 7086xx |
