| 25-20 WCF; fair bore, good stock, 24.25'' barrel, Manufactured in 1906. Original blue finish worn and thinning over all. Original plain walnut stock with crescent butt. Full octagon barrel with original fixed front sight with silver blade and buckhorn rear sight. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Winchester address and patent dates in two lines. Stamped on top of the upper tang "MODEL 1892/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK". Oval proofs appear on top of the barrel and frame. Sling swivel added to the buttstock. German commercial proofs on the bottom of the frame, import marked on the bottom of the frame. The metal has handling marks, a few small dings and scratches. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, a bit dark and frosted throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 3436xx |
