| 25-20 WCF; 96% blue, Mint bore, Mint stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1915 It has an octagon barrel, with the rare take down option. The lock up is tight. The front sight is a blade and the rear is a flat top v notch. The top of the barrel and the top of the receiver both have the Winchester proof marks The Winchester two line address is on the left side of the barrel The barrel also is marked 25-20 W.C.F. The receiver has the serial number and the tang reads MODEL 1892 / -WINCHESTER- / TRADE MARK REG.IN U.S. PAT OFF. It has the crescent butt plate The barrel flats are perfect it has no carrying marks on the receiver, all the screws are mint. For a rifle 104 years old it's beautiful., s/n 7772xx |
