| 38/55; 60% blue, poor bore, fair stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured in 1898. Original finish worn and thinned to patina with light surface rusting here and there and some dark spotting. Original walnut stock with crescent butt. Wood has scattered scratches and dents. Full octagon barrel with fixed front and buckhorn elevation adjustable rear sights. Full magazine tube. Top of barrel marked with the Winchester address and patent dates in two lines. Upper receiver tang marked with the model. The bore has light rust with some pitting. Antique, s/n 1472xx |
