| 30 WCF; 60% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, Manufactured in 1909. Original finish worn to gray with spotting on the receiver. The barrel has spotting and freckling. Original plain walnut stock shows wear and handling. Fixed front sight with a flip up blade rear sight. The left side of the barrel is stamped "NICKEL STEEL BARREL / - .30 W.C.F.-". The top of the barrel is stamped with the Winchester address in two lines. The upper tang is stamped " MODEL 1894 /WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK REG IN U.S. PAT OFF". Oval proofs are located on top of the barrel and frame. The octagonal barrel edges are in very good condition. The bore has good rifling and minor pitting and is dark. The action works well., s/n 4808xx |
