| 32-40 WIN; 70% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1916. Original blue finish and plain walnut stock. Original fixed front and ladder rear sights. Original saddle ring mounted on the left side of the receiver. The barrel is stamped over the left side forward of the rear sight "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED AUGUST 21, 1894". Oval proofs are located on top of the barrel and frame. The upper tang is stamped "MODEL 1894/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. & F.G.N.". Most finish wear is on the frame with spots of thinning and browning. German commercial proofing. Import marked. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 7923xx |
