| 25-35 WCF; fair bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1928. Original finish worn to gray with rust spotting on the frame. Original plain walnut stock shows wear and handling. Saddle ring ground on the left side of the receiver. Fixed front sight with replaced brass blade. Original ladder rear sight. The left side of the barrel is stamped "-MODEL 94-WINCHESTER-NICKEL STEEL-25-35 W.C.F.-". The right side of the barrel is stamped with the Winchester address in two lines. The upper tand is stamped "WINCHESTER/-TRADE MARK-/-MADE IN U.S.A.". Oval proofs are located on top of the barrel and franme. German commercial proofing. Import marked. The left side of the stock is stamped with a number "87". The frame ahs some minor pitting. The bottom of the buttstock and barrel band have holes where sling swivels were once installed. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing heavy frost througout. C&R/FFL, s/n 10272xx |
