| 12ga; 90% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in 1942 This Mod 97 is chambered for a 12 Ga and 2 ¾ shells with a FULL choke. The front sight is a brass bead, and the left side of the barrel is stamped MODEL 97 – WINCHESTER – 12GA- 2 ¾ FULL. It is a takedown model. The barrel and receiver both have the Winchester Proof mark and the S/N 948377 The metal finish has wear on the front barrel band and thinning on the carrying point on the bottom of the receiver and mild high edge wear. The forearm and buttstock are walnut and in very good condition, with a fine hair line crack on the left side at the receiver. The LOP is 13 ¾ inches., s/n 9483xx |
