| .44RF; 95% blue, poor bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 IN ANTIQUE VERY GOOD CONDITION MADE IN 1871. THE BLUING ON THE BARREL APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN REDONE AS IT IS HIGH POLISHED PLUS THE WINCHESTER MARKINGS ARE VERY FAINT. THE BORE IS HEAVILY CORRODED WITH WORN RIFLING. THE LEFT BUTTSTOCK HAS A 3" HAIRLINE CRACK BETWEEN THE TANGS, PLUS THERE IS A SLING SWIVEL. BESIDES THE CRACK THE STOCK AND FOREARM SHOW VERY LIGHT WEAR.THE BRASS FRAME IS EXCELLENT AND HAS AGED NICELY. THE ACTION IS SMOOTH AND FUNCTIONS PROPERLY., s/n 322xx |
