| 22 LONG RIFLE; very good bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Conversion to 22 caliber from a Martini Enfield .303 Carbine , stamped on the left side of the action "CONVERTED FOR THE N.R.A. BY W.W. GREENER", over the original conversion markings "CROWN/V.R./H RB CO./1897 crown/arrow M E .303/A C I/N320". The original markings on the right side of the action "crown/VR / ENFIELD/1882/ crown/arrow / III/1.". Lined round barrel with a small globe and post front sight. Ladder rear sight. BSA folding adjustable sight with selective aperture mounted on top of the stock behind the receiver. Retains the original brass marking disc on the right side of the butt. The butt has a 1" wood extension fitted to the end. Used condition, the metal has turned mostly patina with light surface rusting overall. Front sight base has some brazing repair. Action functions fine. Antique, s/n 3xx |
