Eine 10,5-Zoll-RIS-III-Schiene - nach dem Vorbild des revolutionären zweiteiligen RIS-II-Handschutzes, der für SOCOM entwickelt wurde - verfügt über eine M-LOK-Befestigung für ein geringeres Gewicht und umgibt einen frei schwebenden, kaltgeschmiedeten 11,5-Zoll-Lauf im Government-Profil. Zusammen mit der verbesserten Kontrolle durch den beidhändig bedienbaren Unterbau bietet dieses kurzläufige Gewehr optimale Manövrierfähigkeit, Zuverlässigkeit, Genauigkeit und Endballistik bei Verwendung einer Vielzahl von Munitionsarten, während sein Karabiner-Gassystem einen reibungslosen, zuverlässigen Zyklus unter rauen Bedingungen gewährleistet und den wahrgenommenen Rückstoß reduziert.
