| Der Raptor von Nocturn Industries ist ein fortschrittliches binokulares Nachtsichtgerät, das mit benutzerfreundlichen Ein-Knopf-Bedienelementen ausgestattet ist, ähnlich dem L3 PVS-31A. Gefertigt aus kohlenstofffaserverstärktem thermoplastischem Verbundmaterial, übertrifft der Raptor herkömmliche Polymergehäuse und bietet eine Festigkeit, die mit 6061T6-Aluminium vergleichbar ist. Die Bedienung ist unkompliziert - ein doppeltes Antippen der Taste aktiviert den IR-Illuminator, wobei ein integrierter Indikator den Status im Okular anzeigt. Die Helligkeit des IR-Illuminators kann während des Betriebs angepasst werden. Wenn der IR-Illuminator nicht aktiv ist, lässt sich der Verstärkungsgewinn durch einfaches Drehen des Knopfes einstellen. Ein besonderes Merkmal des Raptors ist die Möglichkeit, das Optikmodul zu entfernen und es in das Talon-System als Monokular zu verwandeln. (Eine professionelle Installation wird empfohlen, da das Gerät neu entlüftet und justiert werden muss). Die integrierte Energiequelle bietet über 20 Stunden kontinuierlichen Betrieb, und die automatische Abschaltung des Moduls, wenn es hochgerollt ist, verlängert die Lebensdauer der Batterie. Externe Energie kann über einen integrierten 00B-LEMO-Anschluss bereitgestellt werden.
