Die Montage lässt sich mühelos und sicher an jeder MIL-STD-1913- oder M-LOK-Schiene anbringen. Angetrieben von einer 123A-Lithiumbatterie liefert das Infrared Scout Light Pro beeindruckende 250 Lumen Weißlicht sowie eine IR-Ausgabe von 100 mW. Durch einfaches Drehen des Lampenkopfes kann der Benutzer das gewünschte Lichtspektrum für spezifische Anwendungen auswählen. Die proprietäre TIR-Linse von SureFire erzeugt einen leistungsstarken, weitreichenden Lichtstrahl, der gleichzeitig ausreichend Umgebungslicht bietet. Die Aktivierung erfolgt über einen benutzerfreundlichen Druckknopf am Endkappenschalter, oder einen Fernschalter (Bsp.: Unity Tactical Axon, Modbutton usw.) Hergestellt aus leichtem Luftfahrt-Aluminium und mit einer Mil-Spec-Harteloxierung versehen, ist das robuste Infrared Scout Light Pro durch O-Ringe gegen Witterungseinflüsse abgedichtet und für den Einsatz unter Gefechtsbedingungen konzipiert, ohne die Manövrierfähigkeit der Waffe zu beeinträchtigen.
