Die Tritium-3-Punkt-Visierkonfiguration bietet eine überragende Leistung bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen, während der 1/2x28-Gewindelauf für die Montage eines Schalldämpfers Ihrer Wahl bereit ist. Die Springfield Armory Echelon wurde mit hervorragender Ergonomie gebaut und ist für harte Bedingungen ausgelegt. Diese Pistole mit Schlagbolzenbefeuerung verfügt über ein COG-Gehäuse (Central Operating Group) aus rostfreiem Stahl mit vollständig beidhändigen Bedienelementen. Ein revolutionäres VIS (Variable Optics System) verwendet eine Reihe von beweglichen Stiften, die eine Vielzahl von niedrig sitzenden, direkt montierten Optiken ermöglichen.
