Magpul Suppressor Cover | 5.5″Das Magpul Suppressor Cover – 5.5″ ist das erste Produkt seiner Art, das den extremen Temperaturen standhält, die durch längere halbautomatische und automatische Feuerstöße verursacht werden, und den Benutzer und die Ausrüstung vor Verbrennungen schützt, während es gleichzeitig den Kühlungsprozess beschleunigt. Das Magpul Suppressor Cover – 5.5″ besteht aus einer hitzebeständigen Polymerhülse, die auf einem erhabenen Hitzeschild aus rostfreiem Stahl aufgebracht ist und mit Stahlklammern direkt am Schalldämpferkörper befestigt wird. Es minimiert die Wärmeübertragung, so dass die Außentemperaturen des Covers bis zu 1000 Grad kühler bleiben als die Oberfläche des Schalldämpfers und ermöglicht einen kühlenden Luftstrom über die Dose. Zusätzlich dient es als verbesserter thermischer Isolator und als Vorrichtung zur Reduzierung von Signaturen, wodurch Fata Morgana-Verzerrungen im Sichtfeld des Schützen erheblich reduziert werden, die Wahrscheinlichkeit von Aufprallschäden am Schalldämpfergehäuse verringert wird und die Wahrscheinlichkeit von versehentlichen hitzebedingten Verletzungen oder Schäden an Personal oder Ausrüstung während des Abfeuerns der Waffe und des Abkühlens verringert wird. Optimiert für runde Schalldämpfer mit einem Außendurchmesser von 1,5″ und einer Gehäuselänge von ca. 5,5″ (ohne Befestigungsmaterial/Schnittstelle) wie z.B. das Surefire SOCOM556-RC2. Hergestellt in den USA.
