Der Wirkungsvorteil des Evolution wird bei Knochentreffern, primär auf stärkeres Wild, besonders deutlich. Während klassische Teilmantel-Geschosse beim Auftreffen auf stärkere Knochen fragmentieren und weniger Restenergie für Tiefenwirkung und Ausschuss besitzen, bleibt das Evolution-Geschoss weitgehend massestabil. Durch die spezielle Verschmelzung des Bleikerns mit dem Tombak-Mantel (Power-Bonding) erreicht es ein Restgewicht von nahezu 100% und sorgt damit für eine hohe Ausschusswahrscheinlichkeit und Wildbretschonung. Aufgrund seiner aerodynamischen Geometrie und der ballistischen Kalotte zeichnet sich das Evolution-Geschoss durch gute Eigenpräzision aus. Es erhält eine gestreckte Flugbahn und sichert eine hohe Auftreffenergie, auch auf weite Schussdistanzen.
