Text only available in German: Länge mit ausgelapptem Schaft: 844mm   Spigon Modell 53   Die MP K1 von Jozsef Kucher basiert auf einem 44.M Prototyp aus dem 2. Weltkrieg. Kutcher begann 1949 in der Danuvia Waffenfabrik mit einem Redesign.   Die MP K1 absolvierte das Auswahlverfahren vom 11. November 1951 des ungarischen Militärs erfolgreich. Das Verteidigungsministerium erteilte den Auftrag für die Produktion. Gewisse Quellen sprechen davon, dass die Maschinenpistole 1953 angenommen und als Modell 53.M eingeführt wurde. Oft wird die Maschinenpistole als Zoll-/Finanzdepartement-MP ("Pénzügyor Géppisztoly") bezeichnet.   Die Produktionszahlen dieser Maschinenpistole sind unbekannt. Sie wurde bald durch andere Waffen abgelöst.   Die vorliegende Waffe weist zusätzlich englische Beschusszeichen (BNP unter Krone) auf.   Bekannte Nummern: A 5552, hergestellt 1954 DB 9672 DB 9883, hergestellt 1955
