Text only available in German: Beim Chiappa M1-9 handelt es sich um eine Nachahmung der letzten Variante des berühmten US .30 M1 Carbine. Die letzte Variante des US .30 M1 Carbine heisst, dass eine Drehsicherung (statt einer Druckknopfsicherung), ein Bajonetthalter und ein Schiebevisier (statt einem Klappvisier) vorhanden ist. Viele Teile des Chiappa M1-9 sind aus Kunststoff, so der Bajonetthalter, die Abzugseinheit und sonstige Elemente. Die Waffe im Kaliber 9mm Parabellum (Luger), kommerziell ist ein Rückstosslader; beim originalen US .30 M1 Carbine handelt es sich um einen Gasdrucklader. Das Chiappa fasst normale Beretta 92 etc. Magazine, wobei die zuverlässigste Funktion mit den beiden beigelegten, auf 10 Schuss begrenzten Magazinen zu erreichen ist. Doch auch mit diesen Magazinen funktioniert die Waffe meist nur leidlich; es treten immer wieder Zufuhrstörungen und Ladehemmungen auf.   Inwiefern das Chiappa M1-9 kompatibel mit US .30 M1 Carbine Zubehör ist; ist fraglich, es passen: - Riemen und Oeler - Original Riemenband (inkl. Riemenband mit Bajonetthalter)   Nicht kompatibles US .30 M1 Carbine Zubehör sind: - Schäfte (müssten links oben abgetragen werden, dass der Ladehebel passt)   Spannend ist, dass der Chiappa M1-9 oben zwei Schienchen für Zubehör aufweist. Ernüchternd ist aber sogleich, dass es sich um eine propriätäre Schiene mit einer Breite von 13.5mm handelt. Auch hier zu früh gefreut...   Das Gewehrchen ist eine nette Spielerei, aber dabei bleibt es auch schon. Aufgrund der fehlenden Zuverlässigkeit ist vom Einsatz des Plastik/Holz/Metall-Konstrukts abzusehen.
